frequently asked questions

Will propane prices go down in 2024?

There’s not a yes or no answer.

Propane prices are influenced by factors such as crude oil prices, supply and demand dynamics, weather conditions impacting heating demand, and geopolitical events affecting global energy markets. Additionally, infrastructure constraints, storage capacity, and regulatory changes can also impact propane prices.

Is propane renewable?

Currently most propane is not renewable, it’s a fossil fuel derived from natural gas processing and crude oil refining.  However, renewable propane is real and gaining traction.  Follow the link to read more.

is propane dangerous?

That is a NO when handled properly.  Your supplier should have mailed or left you infomation for what to do if you smell gas or suspect a leak.  Take the precautions, never ignore or try to handle yourself.

where does propane come from?

Propane is a byproduct of natural gas processing and crude oil refining. It can also be produced during the refining of other petroleum products. After extraction, propane is transported and stored as a liquid under pressure, then converted to gas for various uses.

can a buyer really save you money?

Yes and No.  A buyer that isn’t from the industry won’t do more than you can do yourself.  A buyer from the industry uses industry knowledge and connections to secure cost-effective deals in your favor.  They won’t be fooled.

Can propane go bad?

Propane itself does not go bad, but it can degrade over time due to factors such as air and moisture exposure. Proper storage, away from these elements, helps maintain the quality and effectiveness of propane.
